SlabPilot is operated by Jaxon Blackburn, trading as SlabPilot. Jaxon Blackburn is the data controller for account information described here. This policy explains how Jaxon Blackburn ("we", "us") handles information when businesses use SlabPilot's card-grading operations software and when their customers use the tracking portal.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email address and sign-in information.
- Business details: business name, contact details, branding and settings.
- Operational records a business enters: customers, cards, photos, statuses, submissions and notes.
- Basic technical data such as browser type and usage logs needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To provide, maintain and secure the service.
- To show customers the status of their own cards.
- To process subscriptions and send service-related messages.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell personal information.
Businesses and their customers
Each business controls the records it enters about its customers. Customers can only see their own cards. If you are a customer of a grading business, contact that business first about your records; we will help where we can.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run SlabPilot (hosting, authentication, email), with Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record for sales, subscription management, payments, tax and invoicing, with professional advisers, when required by law, or with your consent.
Legal basis
We process data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running and securing the service, to meet legal obligations, and with consent where required.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect information.
Cookies
We use only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings.
Retention
We keep information while an account is active and as needed to meet legal obligations. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Businesses can request deletion of their workspace data.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
